The application process for the 2025 Inshore Rescue Boat student program is closed. The application process for 2026 will start in fall 2025.
To apply to the Inshore Rescue Boat student program, you must complete the online application on the Government of Canada .
Naval Reserve candidates apply separately through their division. Candidates are then selected by the Naval Reserve coordinator to be included in Inshore Rescue Boat service training.
